Problem C9:
A block can slide down an inclined plane. There is friction between the
block and incline, with the coefficient of kinetic friction equal to
μk = 0.2. The incline has a height of n1,
and a bottom length of n2. The block starts from rest at the
top of the incline and slides to the bottom. The speed at the bottom
is v =
√ gn 3.
What is n3? Note that n1, n2, n3,
and g have the same unit for length.
